  1. I see now in the game log actions I've the "submarine stopping noted" activated, I suppose it slows the game, how can I deactivate it, I don't remember it!!!
  2. broncepulido replied to TonyE's topic in Shore Leave
Very good idea, a little long trip, but I will think on it ...
  3. To make the SS-N-2 Styx and Chinese derivatives (probably also other missiles have this capability, but we don't known them yet) land-attack capables, as per historical evidence in the Indian Osa I attacks on the Pakistani coast in 1971, and I think Iraqi HY-2? Sunflower? attacking ground targets in Kuwait in 1991.
  4. At least on this moment the DB in HCDB and HCCW (for not mention WWII) is for far more comprehensive than in Command.
  5. About the Turkish Agusta-Bell 204AS, I was thinking it was the same model as the Italian or Spanish ones ("AS" stands for "anti-sommergibili"?), with AQS-13B sonar and APN-195 radar, as states Jane's All the World's Aircrafts 1975-1976, but I'm not sure. But now I read in Jane's Fighting Ships 1980-1981 the three Turkish Navy ones are designated as 204B, not as 204AS, probably simpler transport/assault/attack helicopters.
  6. Oh, I don't saw M1926V was an 400mm torpedo, I only saw it was added to the DB with the Bouan, don't employed in any mount and thinking the Bouan employed in post-war old German and French torpedoes.
  7. Ok, tested 2009.097 for ten minutes or so before going to work, 097 far better game results and apparently all is ok now. More comments later.
  8. But I fear the game engine is now too slow for practical use, aside use in tactical and direct fighting. Now it's not good for operational scenarios, in a big sea with both sides looking for the other. But insist, it's too late today and my brain is a Little over-stressed, for more clear thoughts better tomorrow ...
  9. Now at home. Exactly, my main computer has a i7 2,3 GHz processor, Windows 7 and 8 Gb RAM, and the slow game engine results (playing the same scenario in both computers at the same time) are also the same than in the Netbook (Asus 1000 with Atom processor, Windows XP and only 1 Gb RAM). A little too late for thoughts, better tomorrow ....
  10. Not at home now (I'm al fresco), but I fear I'm using an i7!
  11. From a few weeks ago I feel when play HCE the game developes very sloooooowwww, even in vry simple scenarios and with 30 min time compression. I think I can set something erroneously at the game star (in both almost-new computers!), some hints or ideas about it or erroneous settings?
  12. Aircraft entry 11068 L-1049G Super Constellation (Maritime Patrol, India), lacks loadout (I don't see any concrete loadout clearly suitable).
  13. Some very minor doubts or errors in HCCW-130923, after the manual transcription to my personal DB: Helicopter entry11329 AB.204AS perhaps lacks ASW systems and loadouts? Submarine entry 6414 Neptun lacks damage points and base source level. Ship entry 3131 Junk lacks damage points. Ship entry 3139 Pham Ngu Lao should be a Vietnam South ship, not a Yemen North ship. I suppose the weapon entry 26715 French M1926V torpedo should be implemented in the entry 6412 French SS Bouan (ex- U-510).
  14. New ship: a junk!!! Very funny idea
  15. At last and at least It was a great idea to begin the patch release process these days ...
  16. Ohhh, ok, thanks Brad ...
  17. Some opinions, feels or personal perceptions about Command, experience, developers, software madurity, etc ...? http://matrixgames.com/products/483/details/Command:.Modern.Air/Naval.Operations
  18. Alfa Tau! , another very rare submarine movie discovered by me a few days ago, filmed by the fascist Italy in 1942, based on real situations about the Enrico Toti (Balilla class) and other Italian subs actions, very realistic with real subs and many non-professional actors, centered on the human side of the history, of austere realization and surprisingly devoid of propaganda politics. Lightly censored after the war (deleted some little fascist symbology and "Save the King!" cries), at last was released first only for export (the Italian Wikipedia not mention it, but I think it was late heavy edited, if not I don't understand some scenes, as P-51 and Helldivers attacking the sub, probably were added after the war). A curious film and to some grade very realistic, indeed: http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alfa_Tau!
  19. Both Breguet Alize should be rated as STOL-runway capables, not as Small aircraft-runway capables. If not, we can't embark she on aircrafts carriers (the CV are equipped with STOL-runways, also, if I modify it, the game will crash for players without this change in the DataBase).
  20. First knowledge about it (now Im testing with the Cold War DB and shorter range missiles and guns), but great news!
  21. Great! I will keep watching the Cold War DB (Except expansions, I only revise old platforms when I pretend to employ it) and thinking in new Cold War scenarios.
  22. Also, I see the new 3087 Kiev (1143) entry has again limited his aircraft capacity to 30, and not the actual 38 or so ... http://russian-ships.info/eng/warships/project_1143.htm
  23. I see now the Marine 10 man squad modelled as a gun for landing and shore assaults (from Iranian hovercrafts). Probably this can be the better modelling possible on the GE limitations, as when you've approximated your landing force as near as 1 nm from the shore, the success should be guaranteed (not previous interception by the defending enemy forces in a lot of time and space, as in the very slow missile modelling case).
