I'm posting a scenario I've been working on called "Rorke's Drift". It was an originally an EC2000 scenario I had downloaded from the defunct Harpoon Scenario Warehouse and I though I could do a quick-and-dirty conversion to the EC2003 battleset by just changing the suffix. Wrong! I went and recreated the whole thing from scratch, but I need help. 1) Play it and see if it works. 2) Suggestions to make it better. 3) Someone who knows the inner workings of the Scenario really well to fill me in on how the AI controls attacks. Thanks, Larry Gertner wombat1417@att.net

File Name: Helo File Submitter: CV32 File Submitted: 7 Apr 2007 File Updated: 7 Apr 2007 File Category: MEDC Helo EC2000 Battle for the Mediterranean It occurred to me that there aren't many HC/HC97/HC2002 scenarios which focus on helicopter combat, particularly helo vs helo warfare in the virtual absence of fixed wing aircraft. Hence HELO. In this scenario, you are commander of a joint US/UK force operating inside the war ravaged Balkans. Your force controls the airports at Sarajevo and Mostar, but little else. A British Royal Navy task group centred around HMS Ocean is enroute with reinforcements, and a force of eight C-130 Hercules airlifters are sitting o…

After Action Report: Korean Gulf [spoiler Alert] A scenario by Mark Gellis Mark Gellis, a long time scenario writer, has produced another benchmark for anyone interested in small sized but very effective and entertaining scenarios for Harpoon Classic. My Korean ship group comprised six commercial tankers and a pair of South Korean Navy warships – the Ulsan class frigate Chung Nam and the Okpo (KDX-1) destroyer Ulchimundok, and embarked with the latter, a pair of Super Lynx helicopters. The group was already assembled outside the port and airfield at Abu Dhabi and would have to transit the Strait of Hormuz and Gulf of Oman under Iranian threat. Fortun…

Operation Plumbob II - Swineriot View File A slightly complex Study scenario designed less to be won than for data and player playstyle analysis. I've attempted to incorporate every single surface/land atomic weapon possible via the use of land, sea, and air platforms. There are some hopefully helpful prompts before Nuclear Release is granted. It's meant to be played as Blue Only, has a time limit of eight hours. The target names correlate to the distance from projected Ground Zero, so make sure you aim your aircraft for Kaliningrad's hypocenter. Finally, it really isn't fun, unless you like blowing stuff up …

I am trying to build a user scenario using divefreak's Middle East Battleset. Unfortunately some of the bases are far from where they should be. Dubai is in the middle of the Gulf of Oman, for example, serveral hundred kilometres east of where it should be. Similarly, Abu Dhabi is not on the coast of the Persian Gulf, but in the middle of the peninsula. Is there some other data base that should be used with this Battleset ? Or is it possible to manually relocate a base ? Thank you.

This scenario is designed for play by the BLUE side only. This scenario is the second in a multi part campaign. In the first scenario, called Threshold, we examined what happened when the Israelis carried out a preemptive air strike against what they believed to be a Syrian nuclear weapons research facility. In the aftermath of that action…
