Are other folks seeing weirdness in EC2003 IOPG scenario 5 (HDSK5.0) "Those Traveled Roads"? Specifically, installation place names coming up as not matching their proper names, or otherwise shown as "donotuse" ?

Would anyone like to volunteer to recreate the [Original IOPG] scenario "12.0 ...and then there were two"? This would need to be tested and ready to go by mid-December 2024 at the latest. Parameters: 1. Similar groups, units, victory conditions to the original scenario. 2. Use EC2003 IOPG or Custom BattleSet. 2. Use HCDB or HCDB2 (HCDB2 would need a custom BattleSet from the BS Builder to make distribution reasonable). 3. I'm working on some ideas for realistic Cold War scenarios involving Soviets, and I'm trying to figure out something. Under what circumstances would you have the Soviet Navy shooting at people, possibly even NATO ships, c. 1985, where things do not rapidly turn into a global exchange of nuclear weapons? Some ideas... 1. Spies on the run. Submarines on both sides probably sneaked in close to enemy shores all the time to gather intelligence, etc. I'm guessing that if those submarines had been forced to surface, perhaps even fired on, there would have been a lot of grumbling from the country that sent them and maybe a tit-for-tat response like sending an ambass…

to rename the generic INTL Airbase <size> when using them? I've looked for the key to do so, but either it doesn't exist, or I'm missing something obvious. While I'm asking about the Scenario Editor: Is there any way to see group and/or unit inclusion probabilities? i.e. for example, the original GIUK Dawn Patrol sometimes has 3 Nanuchkas, and other times has 4. Any way to find or display the probability? Would be nice to know the intent of the scenario designer when updating the scenarios.

I'm having trouble getting this [Tesseract scenario] to run on HCE, original GE. Anybody else?

I apologize if this is not the proper place to post it but...... Has anyone done a scenario where the Soviets have overrun Europe much likes the Germans did and the RAF/NATO is faced with having to defend their bases and industry against Soviet bombers? And based in the EC2003 GIUK battleset/database. I was thinking something along the lines of all the Soviet heavy bombers coming out of Norway and then Frogfoots and such out of France supported by Flankers, etc. and then on the English side NATO Tornados, Eurofighters, F-15's, F-16's, E-3's, etc. And maybe some cross channel Special Forces stuff (Pave Low's, MC-130's, SEALS from subs, etc.) Victory condit…

Can you guys go through your scenario uploads and use nice small thumbnails? I think it is more important to be able to read the information than to see a photo or screenshot overtake the web browser. I would propose a maximum width of 320 or so pixels, something like... Was there an AAR on IOPG 8.0 Regional Power? This is Bangladesh, Thailand, and Indonesia against India in the Bay of Bengal. The blue side seems so hopeless I wonder if anyone ever played this through? Here is how it went this time. --------------------------------------------------- Blue forces are about 30-35 surface units, few old British and Chinese built frigates, some 25 PTMs assigned to 6 surface groups, two Indonesian Type 1300s submarines and 16 Super Puma helicopters from the Indonesian AFB, Sabang.
