Nuke armed SAMS, Not a real Bugreport

Yesterday i tried out if SAMs with nuke payload work as Nukes (Airbursts) against planegroups.

 

I used the latest Beta.

 

My DB and a small Testscen with 4 ships and lots of planes.

 

the result with the Talos Sams:

 

they achived single hits on single planes but no airburst effect against a whole plane group.

A little adition

 

when you nuke a ship close to the plane group... B):rolleyes:

 

it seems to work... :)

 

16helos down with a single Talos in SSM Mode. :P

 

So it is not the nuke/airburst it self but the combiation of SAMs and Nukes! :(

Did a test with nuke armed AAM.

 

Same stuff as with the SAMs...

On the subject of nukes, is the effect of the resulting EMP on electronics modeled at all?
