Next War: Korea (GMT Games)

Featured Replies

This title was released a few weeks ago and apparently has its lineage in Crisis Korea. I have a basic scenario physically set up, map table restrictions :(, a solo vassal campaign of Tactical Surprise beginning and a turn or two into a vassal "learning" campaign scenario of Strategic Surprise.

Pretty need operational level game. Ground centered. Air in the advanced game can be pretty detailed, Naval is there but obviously not the focus. CBG, SAG's and Amphibs.

Snippet of around DMZ north of Seoul.

Thanks Pete, it looks like GMT is ramping up their electronic conversions so we can probably expect iPad and dinosaur computer versions too. I think we're looking at an interesting few years as game specific play aids meld with all-out conversions, matchmaking, and such.

I do not own an iPad yet, although I do commandeer the wife's from time to time, I do hope for iPad board wargames soon. I'm keeping an eye on http://www.shenandoah-studio.com/ and continue to play to poor old sod "I'd look it up buy I don't have one of those i-Things" to the family.
