CDR Salamander - If They Clicked off a Nuke ....
I don't know whether it's reassuring or not that my home (in the outer part of East London) would probably survive a 2.3 MT nuke.

It's now come through the post. I'm trying out my first game and my blog will have a turn by turn discussion.

Blackfive - How Liberty Dies
Rugged Individualism for many Americans is freedom to starve. You can't eat self-reliance.

Probably not anything to with Putin being involved in corruption. You can accuse of him of many things from autocratic behaviour to excessive shirt removal, but strangely for Russia, no-one really thinks he's corrupt.

As you do.

The myth of 'surgical strikes' on Iran
However, petrol prices have gone up a great deal, while the Iranian currency has now entered the joke category assigned to the old Italian lira, the Zimbabwean dollar before denomination and the Somalian shilling - it's about 40,000 rial to the dollar.

SNP votes for an independent Scotland to remain in NATO
BBC News (rmks: A Non-NATO independent Scotland would have resulted in the loss of Lossiemouth and the northern QRA deployment there, not to mention the radar stations - providing considerably less reaction time to any Russian probe or full scale-attack. If the independence referendum does pass, a new home would still need to be found for the Trident subs though and you'd need to divvy up the Typhoon/Tornado fleet)

Iraq considers MiG-29 buy
Must going the Indian route - diverse air force so you're not crippled by one lot of sanctions.

Well, I'm in it for the remarks. I may not always agree with them but I do enjoy reading them. Thank you for taking the time to type them out. Indeed. Thanks for doing this.

Information Dissemination - This is Stealth?
Yes, but it would also be flammable. Not a good idea on a warship.
