War in the Pacific 1941-1945
The war continues at a much reduced pace from early on as it seems we are both regrouping for further operations. As much as my esteemed opponent likes to believe he is pounding some of my island defenses into dust he is much mistaken as he will find when he comes to try and collect his railroad engineers. Soon the bombing campaign against the northern territories of the home island will begin. Replacement squadrons and aircraft are being produced at ever increasing rates and the mighty Japanese Empire will be ground into dust for ever dreaming they could challenge the mighty Eagle for World dominance.

25,000-ton cruiser under consideration
Bring back the BBs refit them with nuke reactors and then replace two of the gun turrets with VLS launch tubes. Sorry couldnt resist though I know there were people out there actually thinking that. Seriously though if they were to make some nuke cruisers then they would have to have escorts for them so they would have to build some more conventional CGs and DDs to escort them. Sounds like the return of the SAG to the US Navy.

War in the Pacific 1941-1945
I have never considered myself aggressive, I always thought of myself as a defensive guy. Maybe its my old age making me impatient. Good thing I got plenty of supplies at Rabaul, cause it may take a little work to get you out of Port Moresby. If this game mimics real life with ship toughness then those Brit Carriers could outdo a BB for toughness. Well I hope you are ready for the next surprise, you can probably see it already but time will tell if this one will work out as I consider it a gamble. I am coming to visit your Imperial Palace soon, see you there.

War in the Pacific 1941-1945
My carriers arrived a day to late to prevent the invasion of Port Moresby but I did hit several transports and then the carriers traded blows. If my airgroups would have played it smart and hit his carriers from the first I believe it would have been onesided in my favor. But I cant control that part. However if I put his carriers out of action for a little while I can live with that as I have new ones building as I type. Back to more planning.

Naval Gazing: A Top Gun Fantasy Comes True
The sleek but unwieldy F-14 Tomcat that Tom Cruise pretended to fly (and that was once the subject of my adolescent day-dreaming) has been scrapped, to the immense relief of the entire profession of naval aviators and mechanics. Wow that could start a huge flame war

War in the Pacific 1941-1945
Fishermen everywhere would like to say thank you to the most generous Japanese Navy for allowing them the use of sever carriers for use as artificial reefs. At least 3 were created and we are in negotiation for a couple more. We may make the others a diving attraction instead of for fishing. In other news the Holy Cow said she can almost taste that grass now.

War in the Pacific 1941-1945
When your SAG was at Bonin Island it was still yours, now that its mine my B-25s are just begging for them to come back for a little loving I like the attack on Soerabaja also. Over 10,000 Japanese dead for less than 600 Allied casualties. I will take those battles all day long. The Holy Cow understands that Japanese grass is very tasty and has asked me to conquer a few fields for her so I believe I will do that for her.

War in the Pacific 1941-1945
While the Holy Cow understands the needs for bombers and attack craft she is a fighter type of cow and would never let her image be placed on a bomber or attack craft. In addition the only fighters that can carry her image would have to be piloted by quadruple aces or better.

The Limitations and Necessity of Naval Power
I believe this is one reason why games like Harpoon arent more widespread. Lack of a threat makes for less interest. While I am not saying if there was a threat a naval warfare game would outsale Halo or some other similar game I do think there would be a few more people playing.

HNN - Breaking News In todays news, Japanese carriers run afoul of land based bombers operating out of Soerabaja. American High Command is tight lipped but we have reports of two carriers damaged one of them heavily. The Japanese battlefleet was last seen running at best speed away from the area. More news to come as we get it. This is Dewayne Harris with Harpgamer Network News

Corps to delete low-altitude air defense MOS
Yea its a good thing we dont have to worry about helicopters and low flying attack aircraft anymore. As for the 0300 field if they were smart enough to make it as a Stinger shooter they are probably smart enough to stay away from that too.
