An extra note, heartily test all forms of attacking ships with missiles as the, "- Chg:B046 GE" affects every anti-ship with a missile attack.

don't forget about logging, especially when you are testing ECM (the example below logs ecm info to d:\games\hcce\ecmlog.txt)

Test scenario for anti-ship weapons (air, surface and sub launched), for USNI GIUK battleset.

 

Only potential problem appears to be with sub launched missiles.

 

Please test and confirm/deny.

 

I whipped up a small test scen that shows AI subs will fired anti-ship missiles. The incoming missiles are detected by the Blue merchant group at just over a half hour into the scenario. Also useful for testing player ability to launch missiles from a sub.

This appears to be fixed in Beta .021.

 

This leaves the Flawed ECM and the Hornet Decoys to be tested here.

Let's actually just call it the Hornet Decoys as the ECM was covered more completely in more recent release notes (i.e. replacement of the escort jamming model).

This isn't exactly fixed.

Running the saved game with beta .023, ordering the Hornets to attack the surface target will first trigger the "No weapons available for ASuW attack", then bring up the "Attack Range /Target Range/Attack?" dialog. The order is not ignored, though.

agreed, but thankfully that finishes the testing on this build :)
