1. I just want all ASW aircraft able to be placed into a group (without any surface unit). Being able to put a P-3, for instance, in it's own group, set it for asw patrol in it's group zone(s), and send that baby off on it's route.

It would make setting up ASW patrols much easier and eliminate having to micro-manage dropping each buoy. I find that I can only really utilize 1 ASW a/c at a time and it requires most of my focus in low time compression. This would eliminite the micro-management in ASW patrols and allow us to command instead of fly. ;)

On the theme of commanding versus flying, if this feature is implemented, (or even if it isn't!) it would be really useful if a second feature could also be added, whereby an aircraft which is a member of a group which has no suitable landing facilities for it (eg a P-3 Orion attached to a CVBG) will warn the player when it reaches bingo fuel, rather than just flying until it crashes as it does now.

2) Intermittent Group Speed Controls.

Just like the intermittent radar setup. I'd like to be able to vary speeds during a leg to allow for sprint & drift. As it is, I'm constantly clicking through my sub groups, changing speed to creep for a minute or two, then doing it all over again setting them back to a reasonable cruise speed. On occasion, I do this with some surface groups, too. Keep in mind that I don't want to put my subs in the ASW ring because I often don't want them to "sprint" at 19 knots.. somewhere between 10 to 15 is usually my transit preference for subs. I can get by without micromanaging depth if this could be done but it'd be nice if that was an easy addition.

Not only would these keep me from constantly being a Set Speed Window jockey, it'd help quite a bit if it were in the scenario editor, too.
