The recent discussion discussion about using the ANW makes me think other people might be having similar difficulties. Maybe it would make sense for both the HC and H3 forums to have FAQ and/or Support sub-forums where problems and solutions can be posted? The existing FAQ sub-forum could be kept where it is for truly general questions but individual threads could be moved (or copied...it does not hurt to have help repeated in more than one place) to the new sub-forums. Thoughts?

Perhaps it is a good idea. I think the multiple DBs can be a discouraging problem for most of the new casual players, but not for the (I fear very few) hardcore wargamers. This idea should help them.

FAQs are great, but we've had a few topics covered in the existing FAQ sub forum and folks still post to the other forums asking the same questions.

 

If someone wants to volunteer to develop additions to the existing FAQ section, that would be welcome.

 

But I doubt we will be adding further sub forums for questions and answers. The existing forums are fine for that purpose.

Agreed with Brad, if very useful FAQ topics happen to pop up and show regular upkeep in each game's general forum we can definitely pin them so they remain more visible.
