October 30, 201213 yr Can this be followed for Win 8, in particular is it known if Win 8 pro qualifies for legal XP Mode? I guess I could just plow along and see if it works (or I can break it )
October 30, 201213 yr Author Microsoft does not support Windows XP Mode in Windows 8. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/support/faq.aspx Reports from the field indicate XP deactivates itself on machines that are upgraded from Win 7 to Win 8 so not only not supported but also not operational without breaking even more rules/laws/...
