A little list so we have an idea where we're trying to get for the first patch which we should have ready by mid January. Matrix will get it out sometime after that, please keep the timing under wraps since it is very much up in the air but the best guess at present. Please respond to the topic with things we're missing for the 1st patch.

Complete:

1. Multiple crash bug fixes in GE and SE

2. Additional SE zoom levels 16x, 32x, 64x

3. Prevent 100% CPU usage except when game really needs the power

4. SE adding bases refinement for adding multiple bases

5. AI will now fire surface to surface torpedoes

6. Surface to Air guns now adhere to altitude limitations

7. Suppress orders window if scenario has no orders files

8. Show All and Iterative saving enabled for release builds

9. Starting without full ordnance no longer crashes scenarios with neutrals

10. Show more proper images when neutrals are sunk, no more sub instead of ship, etc.

11. Clear Message Log when a saved game is loaded

12. Add Range column to launch aircraft screen (GE & SE)

13. Prevent neutrals from attacking other sides and sharing sensor info

14. Tweak AI running planes (especially bombers) to their deaths

15. BOL weapons will attack anyone, click at target point, activation point

is calculated to be somewhat short of clicked point.

16. Battleset Builder

 

 

Fairly Complete:

1. DLL Data Export interface (coded and works, more documentation needed)

2. Refueling improvements (more work needed, refueling way beyond bingo fuel range doesn't transfer fuel?)

3. Major surface guns improvements (add restriction by arc?)

1. Shipboard ECM (needs to work in multimount, needs to respect arcs)

To 6. Yes, it would be nice if all mounts would respect firing arcs.... :rolleyes:B)

To 2. the Mulitmounts have IMHO more priority than the arcs.

 

To 3. Sounds cool...

Only thing I could add would be a way to check for groups with no units in the SE to cut down on what is probably the #1 reason for user scenario CTD.

I notice in the SE when building a scenario that Platform Display/Show Active Units remains empty even after units have been added. Being able to display only active units while scenario building is in progress would be an improvement, I believe.
