Hi there, Quick message from me to let everybody be aware of the following principles in adding platforms to the HUD4: -Platform inclusion will depend on time I can dedicate to database edition -From above come the following: the less time I spend in researches, the more platforms I can add at once. -Reality has been the keyword of HUD since the beginning, HUD4 makes no derogation to the principle. If for reason of missing data I can't add a platform, it will be merely refused or delayed if I'm convinced there will be such platform in Harpoon Master Annexes in a "near" future. -Some database integrate scores of platforms at once, but at a cost: realism. Whenever I try to use ASROCs (e.g., RUR-5s) I cannot seem to get them to fire. Other torpedos work fine, but not the ASROCs. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong (or if they were just a lemon as far as the technology goes and malfunctioned all the time in real life) or if there is a database error, but I figured I should report it. A few minor issues that should be fixed when possible... BCVN North Carolina (both versions) <-- the text appearing is for another hypothetical class, the BCGN Alaska. I don't know if an actual description for this fictional class is available, so it may have to be changed to "Descriptive text is not available." Herman Hum pointed out that the PS Emilio Jacinto does not appear to have any fuel in its database listing, which means the ship is unable to move. This was in "Celebes Sea Slam"; I simply replaced the PS with another Philippine ship so the problem should no longer exist. I'm not sure if this was one freak event or if it is a more widespread problem (I have not found it in other ships, but I may have just missed it), but I thought I should mention it to people. I tried to place the SA 321G Super Frelon (and the variants, the SA 321 Ga and the Chinese Zhi-8) on carriers, but they are not listed as carrier-capable aircraft (i.e., they don't show up in the list of aircraft that can be added to a carrier). Quick question... I don't mind going through the HUD-4 and identifying the ships for which the descriptive text is missing or incorrect (or, at least, doing as much as I can). I don't even mind finding appropriate text in various databases, online sources, etc., and posting the information so that Gunny can update the database more easily. However, I wanted to find out if there are any restrictions on using certain sources. Can the descriptions from the Harpoon Encyclopedia (http://www.harpoondatabases.com/Index.aspx) be used? That would seem a logical choice, but I did not know if there were any restrictions on using that information. Thanks in advance…

Chile and Mexico both had ships from this class (sometimes called the "Charles Lawrence" class) in their navies in the 1980s.
