View File BBB Bullies Bumping Bellies- Turkey vs Egypt 2020 In the summer of 2020, the situation in eastern Libya deteriorates to the point where Egypt and Turkey feel they have to get involved. This explores what happens next. This scenario is designed primarily to be played from the Blue (Egypt) side, and is quite challenging, even for experienced players. Also can be played from Red (Turkey) quite good for beginning or intermediate players. Created with HCSE 2015.027, and playable on 2015.027 or later, so it'll be available to folks with the older version of the game. Enjoy. Duck. Submitter …

File Name: Fury (Part 1 of 3) File Submitter: CV32 File Submitted: 7 Apr 2007 File Category: WestPac Fury (Part 1 of 3) The People's Republic of China (PRC) has long intended to see through its policy of intended reunification with Taiwan, and often times engaged in angry warnings and military intimidation aimed at thwarting any possibility of the "rebel province" asserting independence. With Hong Kong and Macao having already returned to the embrace of the Motherland, the problem with Tawain is becoming more prominent as time goes on. And, despite an American policy of both arming, and if necessary, defending Taiwan against Chinese aggression, continuing close…

File Name: Okean 80 File Submitter: CV32 File Submitted: 14 Sep 2012 File Category: GIUK A Harpoon Commander's Edition scenario for the EC2003 GIUK Battleset. This scenario is designed for play by the BLUE side. Okean (Ocean) 70, conducted by the USSR during April and May 1970, was the largest exercise held by any navy since the end of WWII. Hundreds of surface ships, submarines and land based aircraft participated simultaneously in several worldwide operating regions, including the Barents, Norwegian Sea, Baltic, and Mediterranean, as well as in the Pacific. Five years later, in April 1975, another major Soviet naval exercise, dubbed Okean 75, repeated the…

  4. In my naval reading list I have now arrived at the fiction section with Michael DiMercurios books. I've just started Voyage of the Devilfish where a rogue admiral sends 120 SSNs to a position they can attack with cruise missiles. (I have not finished the book, so the idea is just based on the start). This inspired me to try to recreate this scenario with EC2003 Battle for the Atlantic Ocean. The idea was to start out a big blob of SSNs from the Norwegian Sea (Barents seems to be off the map) Have them all transit trough the GIUK gap, north and south of Iceland at high speed to several attack positions off the US east coast and then order them to attack vital targets…

Most of our military airfields and facilities on the eastern coast have either been destroyed or captured, and consequently our remaining air and naval forces have retreated to the western side. The Americans are mobilizing to respond, and will soon begin operations in defence of the ROC. Even so, it is unclear how long we will be able to hold out, as the PRC for…

  9. New scenario: Thunder Dragon Meets the Gold Eagle - Westpac One of the most significant obstacles to a forced reunification between the PRC and the Republic of China (ROC, commonly referred to as Taiwan) is the US Navy. The presence of a US Navy carrier strike group in the vicinity would pose a very serious danger to PRC military action. Does the PRC possess the capability to neutralize the threat ? Try it and see for yourself. Get it at HarpGamer via the HC Scen button.

AAR: Bad Moon Rising [spoiler Alert] A Harpoon Classic scenario By Brad Leyte I decided right away that recovery was too risky since there was virtually no possibility of air coverage of any of the surface elements. They would be too exposed in the heart of the Russian / Chinese strike range. I ordered the submarine tenders and rescue ships to stay well away from the Kuriles and gambled with the submarines. A CAP [Combat Air Patrol] was sent up to cover the Frank Cable. They were engaged by Flankers and returned fire when fired upon. It turned out that the Russians were going to be very sensitive to any and all flights in the northern Pacific and were "defend…

File Name: Resolve (Part 3 of 3) File Submitter: CV32 File Submitted: 7 Apr 2007 File Category: WestPac Resolve (Part 3 of 3) The destruction of the PLAN convoy near Daishan has effectively prevented the reinforcement of PRC troops already landed in Taiwan, and within the last few days, most of these troops have either surrendered or been destroyed. Marines from the Essex ARG have landed ashore and are assisting Taiwanese Army forces in mopping up PRC resistance. Meanwhile, air strikes from the Chinese mainland have been considerably reduced in volume and intensity. Intelligence and media reports indicate a great deal of confusion - some say chaos - in Beijing,…

Friends, A quick question... Do you know where I can find out... What countries are building (or are likely to be building) ships or planes for other countries (and who their customers are or are likely to be)? And... What countries are selling (or likely to be selling) older vessels and aircraft to other countries (and, again, who their customers are likely to be)? Thanks. Mark

A hypothetical scenario that explores Japan making a surgical strike against North Korea's missile test center. This is not a leisurely task, as you have less than 24 game hours to complete the mission. The player should attempt to limit collateral damage, as the target is very specific. Designer Notes: I've tweaked it a bit, and probably given the red side a bit more capabilities than it really has (reference materials were conflicting). However, this was done in the interest of gameplay and to present th…
