I cannot imagine that registry issues or file corruption would result in dramatically enhanced AI. (I remind folks that the term 'AI' is used very loosely here, since no version of Harpoon has anything like a true AI).

 

Agreed about the registry and file corruption questions, but those were all that came to mind in regards to being posbible differences between the specific installations.

 

Regarding the term "AI", when I use it, I'm referring to the "computer opponent systems" - but I felt the need for some shorthand term to use instead of writing all that out in each case :rolleyes: ... and "AI" seems to be a sort of defacto term used for that purpose. If there is a "proper" shorthand term for referring to the "computer side", that is generally recognized, then I'll be happy to use that instead. (No point in adding confusion of terms to this already befuddling situation!)

Hehe, AI is fine. In regards to radar detections I still have to suggest giving the radar logging a try to give you concrete numbers on when the AI detects you and with what platform(s).
