2009.038 Release Notes

HCE - 2009.038

==============

- Chg:0000 GE Fixed a crash bug that could occur when AI attacks player planes

with guns in loadout.

tough to test, I only ran across it while autotesting and it only happens if the gun is ONLY air capable. Anyway, I think you'll have to trust me this time that the fix works.

A couple of errors last nite while running autotest batch file "ap-ORIG-2core.bat" (for a dual core machine) and 2009.038, as follows:

NACV 6.0

Assertion failed!

Winharp.exe

File: d:\prog\agsi\ge\src\effect4.c

Line: 5824

Expression: pos==current

IOPG 10.0

Assertion failed!

Winharp32.exe

File: d:\prog\agsi\common\src\stubs.c

Line: 300

Expression: idx<malloc_record_count[bucket]

Still running the remaining scenarios in that batch file.

Thanks Brad, you wouldn't happen to recall which side was the player side in each of those instances would you? That would help me try to recreate the right situation.

Pretty certain it was NATO in NACV 6.0, and I think it was Blue in IOPG 10.0, but I cannot be absolutely sure of the latter.
