January 2, 200917 yr Hi guys this is officially my first post. I start the proceedings with two questions that might have already been asked. So just bear with me for a moment . I've read the posts on H4 paper rules and I found them extremely interesting and informative. So much so that H4 is on its way to me from the US, (no dealers locally). I have been the proud owner of H3 by GDW for a few years and I also own H3 ANW for PC but it just does not have the same enjoymement level that I experience with the paper rules. So, having expelled much hot air here is my questions: I have read about a plotting board used for gaming (I think solitaire games). Where is it possible to obtain this? Is it possible to obtain back issues of the Naval Sitreps that was published? Thanx MT
January 2, 200917 yr Hi MT, Welcome to the fray! There are multiple plotting boards out there, the one I have a hand in is quite basic and generic for use with pretty much any game (and we'll be having a nice little update in a couple of weeks)! http://www.stratsims.com/CIC_MP01.asp Yes, you can buy back issues of Naval Sitreps directly from Clash of Arms. You can also often find them on e-Bay.
January 2, 200917 yr Author Thanks guys. I've downloaded the plotter and would like to see how it works, thanks again Tony and Pete for the welcoming. While on topic have anyone tried the Berthier system as a plotting board? It only occurred to me now that I have it somewhere on file but I would like someone's opinion on it since it seemed a bit clunky when I checked it out. Thanks Juhan
January 2, 200917 yr Author Thanks Silenthunter, To be honest I heard about the boards on a site called Harpgamer....
January 2, 200917 yr While on topic have anyone tried the Berthier system as a plotting board? No Sir. Never tried it, or heard of it until now for that matter. Good Gaming.
January 3, 200917 yr Hey welcome. I'm new around here also. Plotting boards? How about graph paper? Or a white board?? Or butchers paper???
January 3, 200917 yr I play primarily on graph paper. Usually when the forces at at a distance. When something is close range enough, and I have the time, I go downstairs into the cellar and set it up with minis on my 4x8' table.
