This is where we solicit your opinions on what should be addressed before we ship the next patch to Matrix for the full game.

 

The general approach to the patch is bug fixes from 2008.044 and maybe a few feature additions. In other words, you can say ASW search patterns but your suggestion will be ignored. Now if you say that you'd like guns to adhere to the mount arcs that would be more likely to happen.

 

If you can find em, link to any of the defect/bug/issue reports that you think need fixing before a patch.

I'd really like to see the ability to enter reference points in the SE to aid in defining the mission parameters and objectives called for in the scenario. I'd also like to see the same capability in the GE to help with navigation. patrol areas, etc.

 

Case in point. While attempting to construct a scenario calling for a sortie of my BG from Subic to "Yankee Station" to conduct operations, I would have liked to include a reference point for the BG to sail towards.

 

The ability to include reference points to define an area would also simplify the "On Station" victory condition, if it is used in a scenario. Although it is no problem adding this a a victory condition, I don't know of a way to display it to the player.

You won't get reference points for the next public patch but you will get the ability to show On Station rectangles.
