December 4, 200817 yr Example from the message log: 3*AGM-84 Harpoon have been shot down by 3*SA-N-7 Gadfly (FPh=60, Ph=60, DPh=50). What do FPh, Ph and DPh mean? Ph is the "probability of hit" of the missile (in this case, the SA-N-7) after taking into account the potential modifiers (fast target? small target? etc.) FPh is the "final probability of hit" or the actual Ph number used in determining hits. It is the Ph arrived at after taking into account whether multiple SA-N-7s were fired at the same target. DPh is the "database probability of hit" of the SA-N-7 as taken directly from the database.
December 4, 200817 yr Author Bill Gunston (Guia ilustrada de misiles aéreos modernos, Madrid, 1983) says that Sky Flash has got an auto-guided warhead. So Sky Flash had SARH guidance until it was near of the target, when it will use its own terminal guided warhead. Is it possible to have "SARH guidance" and "Terminal guidance" flags together in the same weapon?
December 4, 200817 yr Is it possible to have "SARH guidance" and "Terminal guidance" flags together in the same weapon? Yes, that's possible. jugasa, in the meantime, please start a new thread if you want to discuss a new topic or have something to discuss that's unrelated to the original thread. Otherwise, this is going to get really off track. Thanks.
December 12, 200817 yr Author When does the +30Ph modifier to ATA applies? 1) When target speed is slower than 1300 knots. 2) When target is unmanned (it hasn´t detect the missile). P.S.: I have read at "Harpoon 2 - Scenario & Database Editor Manual" that you add +30 to ATA when target is unmanned. May be it is only for Harp2 and Harpoon 3 ANW.
