Training CPX to be run by Rattler

Featured Replies

(From the TacOps Mailing List Wednesday, April 30, 2008 6:59 PM)

Could run a new players and new umpires training CPX tomorrow 1800

GMT, only newbies and new umpires should apply, max 3 players per

side.

Alternatively could do the same thing on SAT MAY 3rd

***Pls someone (Peter?) forward to appropriate other lists and forums

(like Harpooners et al where the new guys came from)***

Training will involve frequent game pauses and helpig players to

discover use of TacOps features, maybe sides changes (to keep the

tension up) and guidance through team planning etc.

Anyone?

destroyed vehicles. The operation continues."

For those of us west of the prime meridian, it looks more like Saturday, if at all. ;)

pmaidhof,

I don't know if you're in a position to answer this, but was Rattler ever an F-4 jockey on the Midway? If so, I spoke to him numerous times as an AIC. Unfortunately, I only knew his callsign, not his real name.

Knowing this Rattler to be "Matt Ohlmer", a German professional photographer living by the seaside in Spain, I sincerely doubt it. B)

Sorry Budda, Brad is correct. Matt is a german living and working on Mallorca.

Thanx, guys. It was a long shot anyway. I sure couldn't have missed by more if I'd tried.

Hey, it was definitely worth a shot. :)

RL apparently jumped up and bit Matt. He will not be running the CPX tomorrow. If anyone here is interested, I can do the same thing he intended. It would benefit all invovled, players playing and me hosting.

I like the idea but not the timing. The multi-selecting thing you hinted to me way when the game first arrived on my doorstep and was totally forgotten during the two CPXes of late. Probably a month or so out on my availability, maybe when the doctors are prodding me again around the 20th of May.
