June 5, 201213 yr I'm a bit confused then, it's already being used on the 15A Kolkata class in the DB? Haha, right you are. Looks like I added it back in November. Okay, I will look at the Project 17A again. Feel free to post any info/links you think would be helpful. http://trishul-trident.blogspot.com/2011/1...s-modified.html I'm still looking for something that shows how many of both the barak 8 and barak 1 since it appears that both the 15A's and 17A's will use both
June 10, 201213 yr An oddball, I think it was sometimes in the DB, of easy execution using a generic helicopter patrol loadout: AS.532UL Cougar HORIZON (1998-2008): Helicoptere de Observation Radar et d’Investigation de ZONe. Four helicopters for the ALAT, 1st Regiment d’Helicopteres de Combat, based at Phalsbourg, used for battleground surveillance. Deployed to Macedonia in 1999 for surveilland of the Kosovo conflict. Range=491 nm. Cruise speed=97 knots. Max speed=141 knots. (Sometimes I see in the DB and in the paper rules they are confussion between the helicopter maximum level speed and the helicopters maximum supportable dive speed, higher than maximum speed). Thomson-CSF/Thales X-band MTI radar range=108 nm, with MTI. http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurocopter_Co...Version_Horizon http://www.aviastar.org/helicopters_eng/snias_cougar-aew.php http://www.helicopassion.com/fr/03/puma03.htm And Air International March 2002 issue, page 169 (“The helicopters are fitted with a comprehensive self-defence suite comprising active and passive systems”).
June 11, 201213 yr Some more minor errors in the DB: Entry 10970 Scan Eagle Block D and entry 11324 Saab 340B SAR-200 now have the same loadout, 55366, now the range of Scan Eagle is 1300 nm! (I think we can keep entry 56687 for the Saab, and 55366 for the Scan Eagle with 54 nm range). The entries 11320 YS-11EB and 11321 YS-11A have not loadout. Entry 11325 C-212A Aviocar has RCS=0.

The entries 11320 YS-11EB and 11321 YS-11A have not loadout. Thanks. Entry 11325 C-212A Aviocar has RCS=0. I think you caught this one already, earlier in the thread.
June 11, 201213 yr Entry 11325 C-212A Aviocar has RCS=0. I think you caught this one already, earlier in the thread. Thanks! Ohhh, probably I'm too busy these weeks ... Casually some minutes ago I've detected this two ship classes, not present in the DB, at least not as UAE warships ... http://www.meretmarine.com/article.cfm?id=119814
June 13, 201213 yr I was skimming through the ships data base, and I noticed that the Ticonderoga (85) ship entry (ID 2380) has 4 127mm/54 Mk45 guns. As much as I believe the Marines would appreciate the extra fire power, I'm pretty sure there's no room for 2 extra guns. Just saying...

June 22, 201213 yr Another very easy idea:C-17 SOLL II Special Operations variant, NOE capable, in service at least from 2001: http://airforce.americanspecialops.com/spe...ions-low-level/ As per Air International March 2002 issue, the IOC should be Octobre 2003.
July 23, 201213 yr I think the DB 1980-2015 is almost complete now (and almost full!), and we have not forgetted nothing essential. Only minor suggestions from here onwards, I hope. Perhaps Starburst ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starburst_sur...-to-air_missile
July 23, 201213 yr Perhaps divided Ka-25PL Hormone-A entries with more realistic splitting of loadouts and sensors, as in the Cold War DB ....
August 1, 201213 yr A state-of-art update, not a must, but worth to be in the DB: MQ-4C Triton (IOC December 2015?): as Global Hawk but with APY-3 radar (Global Hawk loadout, and the radar is in the DB, and has a range of 350 nm, in opposition to the Global Hawk Raytheon ISS of only 150 nm range). The radar was unveiled as employed in the July 2012 issue of Air International. Ohhh, sorry, I see radar is ZPY-3 (not in the DB), not APY-3, for a little research this afternoon ....
August 1, 201213 yr Very scarce data or mention about the Northrop Grumman AN/ZPY-3 MFAS (Multi-Function Active-Sensor) for the MQ-4C BAMS Triton. My guess is range=250, ph=75, SS 360º. http://www.deagel.com/Aircraft-Warners-and...a002246001.aspx http://www.deagel.com/news/Multi-Function-...n000008692.aspx http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread851186/pg1
August 3, 201213 yr More ideas, only for flavour and of easy execution with the current loadouts. Two helicopters from the HMX-1 USMC presidential flight (the idea came from the August 2012 issue of Air International, full of short-range VH-3D pictures, but none of the VH-60N ...): VH-3D Sea King (IOC 1976): cruise speed 110 kn, range 450 nm. Replaces the previous VH-3A, employed 1963-1976. VH-60N White Hawk, White Top or Presidential Hawk (IOC 30 november 1988): cruise speed 130 kn, range 500 nm. Probably based on the UH-60L, because has T700-GE-701 turboshaft engines. http://www.navy.mil/navydata/fact_display....id=900&ct=1 Both with at least RWR (if not ESM) and incoming missiles detector/laser warning (I modelled it with the IRST flag) as we can see in the VH-3D nose pictures, upgraded communication systems (at least a satellite link?blister in the fuselage top), and I'm sure also with at least some decoys, and perhaps a pair of diagonally underbelly-placed IRDECM ... The VH-60N adds apparently a RDR-1400 search/weather radar, in a radome similar to the HH-60G radar mount displaced on the port side (The HH-60G has a RDR-1400 radar in a bigger radome, the similar MH-60G/K/M has an APQ-174 terrain-following radar in a smaller radome), but not FLIR, as is present in the MH/HH-60 types. The HH-60J has a RDR-1300C radar in a smaller radome, and the MH-60L DAP has another type of radome in the nose center. A walk-around of HH-60G: http://www.aircraftresourcecenter.com/awa0...venzano/00.shtm MH-60G/K/M pictures with the smaller radome: http://nightstalkers.americanspecialops.co...pters/mh-60.php A curious news report with an Iranian link relationed with the topic, finded casually researching about it: http://www.defenseindustrydaily.com/P2P-Ne...licopter-05318/
August 15, 201213 yr AgustaWestland Wildcat, to replace all the Lynx in UK services (I think we can use Lynx loadouts): Wildcat AH1 (IOC 2014): Army Air Corps, 34 to be purchased. First Wildcat AH1 delivered April 2012 for evaluation. More stealthy than Lynx, less IR signature, FLIR, IRST, RWR. Wildcat HMA1 (IOC 2015): Royal Navy, 28 to be purchased. Adds Seaspray 7000E AESA radar. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AgustaWestland_AW159
