Requests for the HCDB (Official DB of HCE) and HCDB2
I was skimming through the ships data base, and I noticed that the Ticonderoga (85) ship entry (ID 2380) has 4 127mm/54 Mk45 guns. As much as I believe the Marines would appreciate the extra fire power, I'm pretty sure there's no room for 2 extra guns. Just saying...

I have a question about magazine load outs for certain mounts. I'm looking through and the American ships, I notice there are no reloads for either the CIWS or RAM. Is this because there are no reloads carried, or something else? Doesn't make sense to have reloads for the Sea Sparrows, but no reloads for either of the other two systems. Just an observation.

Any chance to add the new America LHA-6 class? http://www.navsource.org/archives/10/07/0706.htm http://www.news.navy.mil/navydata/fact_dis...id=400&ct=4

Magazine Question...
I think I understand what you're suggesting, i.e. 406mm Turret1 ammo, 406mm Turret2 ammo, and 406mm Turret3 ammo, each occupying a separate entry in the Weapons Annex. I can see how that might would work, but its cumbersome, and unless someone can convince me that the current arrangement affects gameplay so much as to make it unworkable, the present method will stay in place. Personally, I've never encountered a scenario (yet) where the number of reloads aboard an Iowa (and how those reloads were allocated among turrets) made any difference. I agree, I've never encountered it either. I simply like to tinker with DBs and change them to suit my personal play style...and it was something I noticed. In my personal DB, I have changed the magazines and ammo to what you just described. Does it change game play? Eh, not really, but I feel better.

Magazine Question...
I've been looking at the HCDB and specificly at the magazine/turret relationship of the Iowa BBs. On the turrets I notice that they each hold enough rounds that when combined with the magazines which hold 255 rounds, you have the total needed for each turret. Here's where I have a problem with that. If I remember correctly the magazines supply ALL the mounts of the same type. In other words, even if the front two turrets are blown up, the ship will continue to use the ammo supplied by all three magazines. That being said, I find it hard to believe you're going to be running 2700lb shells from one end of the boat to the other. Wouldn't it make more sense to place the proper amount of ammo in each individual turret? I do understand the intent, but in this case it just doesn't make sense.

I know this may sound kinda petty, but I was wondering if you could add more load outs to the F-14B/D. Specifically A/G load outs. These aircraft can and have carried JDAMs with up to 4 GBU-31/32/38 being carried. They're also missing the ALQ-165 ASPJ (minor point) and the LANTRIN systems. Also, carried the Paveway III series of LGBs as well. I ask, because it's not possible to build some OEF and OIF missions that these aircraft used without these load outs. Here's a couple of examples that I've built for personal use. I used the guided munitions in these, but you could easily swap them 1 for 1 with dumb bombs or CBU-78/99/100 cluster munitions. Typical load outs could be: 1 Lantrin 4 x GBU-31/32 JDAM 2 x AIM-9M 2 x AIM-7M 2 x 295 Gal drop tanks 1 x ALQ-165 ASPJ 1 Lantrin 2 x GBU-31/32 JDAM 2 x AIM-9M 2 x AIM-7M 2 x 295 Gal drop tanks 1 x ALQ-165 ASPJ 1 Lantrin 4 x GBU-38 JDAM 2 x AIM-9M 2 x AIM-7M 2 x 295 Gal drop tanks 1 x ALQ-165 ASPJ 1 Lantrin 4 x LGBs 2 x AIM-9M 2 x AIM-7M 2 x 295 Gal drop tanks 1 x ALQ-165 ASPJ 1 Lantrin 2 x LGBs 2 x AIM-9M 2 x AIM-7M 2 x 295 Gal drop tanks 1 x ALQ-165 ASPJ 1 Lantrin 1 x GBU-31/32 JDAM 1 x LGB 2 x AIM-9M 2 x AIM-7M 2 x 295 Gal drop tanks 1 x ALQ-165 ASPJ

Min and Max altitudes in the weapons DB
Are these the launch parameters or are they the altitudes the weapon travels at? I'm asking because I'm having trouble understanding why a AGM-84E SLAM can only be launched at VLOW altitude...when I've seen footage of them being launched at atleast High.

Ship RCS help
Hehe...Well...that was more math than I needed today, but I thank you both. I'll give TonyE's idea a shot...if I don't like, I'll just guess. I *was* going to ask how you determine the BaseSourceLevel, but I'm scared I'll have to go buy a graphics calculator.

Ship RCS help
I'm trying to figure out how you get the RCS value for ships, aircraft, installations, ect ect. I know there's a formula out there to do it, but for life of me, I can't find it, and I've spent close to 2 hours trying to find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
