Boeing KC-767

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_KC-767

"The Boeing KC-767 is a military aerial refueling and strategic transport aircraft developed from the Boeing 767-200ER. The tanker received the designation KC-767A in 2002, after being selected by the US Air Force initially to replace older KC-135Es. In December 2003, the contract was frozen and later canceled due to corruption allegations." --Wikipedia

Only a few built, but Japan flies them. I thought I had posted this one but I checked and I did not find it so I guess I forgot.

Japan and Italy fly it. In game terms they are almost identical (radios and ESM being different only.) The USAF Version is based on the 767-300 family with improvements from other aircraft as well. The KC-767 is the designation for the Italian version only. I am not 100% certain on Japan's designation.

Project 1242.1/1241.8 'Molniya'

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tarantul_class_corvette

The two projects has been modified and rearmed with modern missile systems like the Uran-E. The projects are maufactured by the Russian Vympel Shipyard.[1] Russia received at least one boat for trials in the 1990s and in 1999 Vietnam orderd two vessels. Vietnam has also started its own production line of 1241.8 boats with the assistance of Almaz Central Design Bureau in St. Petersburg and has of 2011 four boats in construction.[2][3] In 2009 Libya orderd 3 ships.[4]" --Wikipedia

Hooray! Any news on when it will be released?

(By the way, I'm assuming all the country additions I'm suggesting will probably not get done until a much later release, but I figure I might as well list them now.)

Yeah, any news when HUD4 v1.11 will be released. It will be exactly in the wake of 3.11 release, a few days after...

Sorry, I should have rephrased that. :) Has anyone heard anything about when 3.11 is being released? AGSI still just says "We are having problems with our site." I mean, it's hardly a matter of life and death; I'm just hoping it will be sooner rather than later.

Mark,

More than 1 month (maybe 6 weeks ago), I was asked the HUD4 v1.1 files. I was asked it again 2 or 3 weeks ago, so I guess it's a matter of days. But AGSI has nothing to do with the delay, all files are into Matrix hands.

FG

PS: for a small preview of HUD4, let me tell you that many new Russian systems were added: Pantsir S1, S-400 Triumf, Igla-S (SA-24 Grinch) among others.

Haiqing class submarine chaser

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haiqing_class_submarine_chaser

"The Haiqing class are a submarine chaser/patrol boat of the People's Liberation Army Navy. There is some disagreement over the type designation of this class, some sources claim it is Type 037I, while others claim it is Type 037IS." --Wikipedia

"Unlike western navies, the PLAN does not have dedicated patrol boats in its inventory, instead, a variety of naval vessels ranged from minesweepers to fast attack craft are deployed for patrol duties. The Haiqing class is one of such Chinese designs and it is a cross between gunboats and the submarine chaser, based on Type 037 (Hainan class). These boats were first built by the Qiuxin Shipyard of Shanghai, and later by Huangpu Shipyard."

Type 037 class submarine chaser

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Type_037_class_submarine_chaser

"The Type 037 class submarine chaser, also known as the Hainan class, is a class of submarine chaser of the People's Republic of China's People's Liberation Army Navy, designed by China to replace the Soviet S.O.-1 class submarine chaser. Early units had Dual Purpose Mk.26 76.2 mm guns and Russian RBU-1200 ASW rocket launchers, but eventually, these were replaced by Chinese Type 66 twin 57 mm guns and Type 81 ASW rocket launchers (the Chinese version of RBU-1200)." --Wikipedia

(I'm not sure how different these are from the Type 37 missile boats that are already in the database, and the OTHER type 37 sub chaser I just posted a request for...I'm guessing they are a different class, though. And China seems to have a zillion of them!)
