The Battle for Odessa
The Battle for Odessa, Part 1 - Ukrainian side
Version 1.1
A scenario for Harpoon Classic
Battleset : EC 2003 MEDC
Database: H2DB
by
JSF
Ukrainian forces will defend Odessa, their last remaining, port, at all costs. Massive Russian airstrikes and cruise missile attacks have reduced Ukraininan coastal defence systems and only those around Odessa are left.
Snake Island is under Russian control. Now the stage is set for the long awaited Russian amphibious assault on Odessa.

Kaliningrad Clash, Part 1
Kaliningrad Clash, Part 1 - Nato side
A scenario for Harpoon Classic
Battleset : EC 2003 GIUK
Database: H2DB
by
JSF
The last days saw ever more growing tensions between Nato and Russia. While the war in Ukraine has become one of attrition, several new hot spots came to daylight. The most dangerous one being the Russian Kaliningrad exclave.
Kaliningrad is absolutely vital for the Russians since it is superbly located for cutting off the Baltic Republics from Nato via occupying the Suwalki Gap and threatening Nato countries with Iskander ballistic missiles.
Thsi scenario deals with this extremely dangerous situation. The stakes are extremely high, so is the nervous tension.
Comments and critiques welcome.

New Russia Part One: The Invasion of Poland
Scenario Background:
New Russia Part One: The Invasion of Poland
Version 2.0
September, 15th, 2014.
One month ago, Russia invaded the Ukraine. This had been well prepared and the Ukrainian forces were outgunned and overrun in a month. Russia has taken control over the whole country amazingly fast and installed a Moscow friendly regime.
Nato acted helpless and chattered in different tongues. The US look weak and are heavily involved in the Middle East where the IS forces gain territory by the day.
Russia has decided to make use of this perfect strategic situation. It has massed troops, armored vehicles and aircraft all along the border and is ready to strike and ... win again.
This is a huge scenario. Nearly 1'000 aircraft and hundreds of mobile land units are involved.
At the same time, it is fast and furious, thus, especially in the beginning, game speed 1:1 is recommended.
I tried to set up the current Polish, Russian and German Air Forces and bases accurately. It is interesting to test how this mixed Polish force of somewhat aged American and Russian aircraft will perform against the modern Russian Air Force when the first blows come in.
Comments and critiques welcome.

Pacific War 1
Pacific War 1: Ignition
Japan vs China
Date: August 14th, 2013
Long lasting tensions tend to explode some day. The struggle regarding the Senkaku (as the Japanese name them) or Diaoyutai (the Chinese name) Islands is one of those latent conflicts.
It' s not about those little rocks, it's about the ressources around them.
Ignition is the first scenario of a new Battleset which displays an accelating conflict, starting around those small islands.
This a sharp tactical duel, be careful using time compression!

Fish in a Barrel - modified version
Hi Pooners,
my first scenario work after a long time. It stems from a discussion with a new player over there at Matrix. He described his first experiences and especially some rather dull AI performances. Oh, well... Thus I tweaked the stock scenario "Fish in a Barrel" a little...
Should be much sharper now. Highly recommended to play US side if you want to have a strong opponent.

Assault - a scenario for ANW 3.10 and the ANW DB
Assault
v1.0
A scenario for Harpoon ANW 3.10 and the ANW DB
written by
Ralf Koelbach
February, 2011
The control of Iceland is crucial for the dominance in the Atlantic Ocean.
Land your troops via helo and take the base!
But prepare it well or your troops will never see the island...
This scenario uses ANWs brand new feature boarding and takeover.
It is by no means a beginner's scenario, you are up against very stiff defense.
Have fun,
Ralf

ORDERS FOR CMDR ALPHA OPERATIONS
Intelligence
The war is in a critical phase. Our efforts to control the Atlantic Ocean are hindered by the Bravo base on Iceland.
Mission
In order to gain access to the Atlantic, we must take the hostile base on Iceland.
Execution
Move your task force towards the zone marked by the three refpoints. Proceed with care. Your LST must be on station there for at least four hours in order to unload troops and equipment.
In order to achieve that, conduct the following steps:
1. Gain air superiority
2. Take out hostile SAM units and ground forces.
3. First take the landing zone in the Southwest. Use it as a beachhead.
4. Then take facility after facility of the base with your helos.
5. Now come close with your carrier group. The LST can unload.
Command and Signal

EMCON passive.
