The U.S. Navy is set to demonstrate the ability to fire an AGM-88G Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile Extended Range, or AARGM-ER, from a ground-based launcher this year. The missile's manufacturer, Northrop Grumman, has been pitching surface-launch options for the weapon, and derivatives thereof, for years now.
