I'm planning a scenario using Diego Garcia, does anyone know what the current defenses are for the island? Besides the pre-positioned ships and the transient tankers and bombers what are the air defenses like and are there any fighters or garrison? Do any small naval combatants call the base home? Thanks for any insight.

As many of you have noticed, guessed, etc, Harpoon Commanders Edition looks to finally be released in the next couple of months. But there is still time to submit your WestPac scenario (using the stock DB or HCDB) for inclusion with the game itself as part of the WestPac battleset. There are five slots available for scenarios that are tested and fun, very few restrictions besides that. The scenarios must include orders files for both sides (even if one side's orders just states that side isn't playable). After Action Report: Colombian Hat Dance A scenario by Mark Gellis 'Colombian Hat Dance' is a new HCE scenario for the new custom 'Caribbean Sea' Battleset. I played the scenario using beta 2008.050. After Action Report "Punch Through" A Harpoon Classic scenario for the original NACV Battleset "Punch Through" was one of my favourites in the old times. It always gave me close and hard fought out battles. To be honest, I usually lost. AAR: Roman Thunder [spoiler Alert] I always enjoy scenarios that involve Algeria. I'm not sure why. Maybe it’s the country's tumultuous and ever-changing relationship with the West; or the French colonial heritage; or the sinister nature of the bloody internal conflict that Algeria has seen because of militant Islamic groups; or maybe it's simply because the regional geography (North Africa and Europe being separated by a relatively narrow portion of the Mediterranean) makes for a great Harpoon scenario.
