We have just concluded a site update to add H3 Scenario and AAR pages to the HarpGamer website. At the same time, we've posted Fred's H3DB-050323 release along with 2 HC scenarios he rebuilt for H3, his own Cold North scenario, and Mark Gellis's JAPFISH scenario. Also new to the H3 Scenario Page are two previously authored, original HUD2 scenarios by Kelly Crawford, Kurils and Okinawa II. On the HC front, Brad has released HCDB-050327 and this is also incorporated into the website update. I've modified the forum source code to show all members that belong to a particular group (when at http://harpgamer.com/harpforum/index.php?act=Members). I for instance am part of not only the Staff Pukes group, but also HCBeta (and others), previously the filter by group would only show me in the listing for Staff Pukes, now it will show me in the listing for any of the groups that I am part of. Makes the searches much easier. That said, any official update to the forum software may overwrite my change so holler if it disappears and you want it back.

Interested in a free book? We're looking for a few good men to help out around here and we're willing to offer some small tokens of appreciation in return. Some of you will have heard already, but for those who have not, I am very sorry to advise that Darren Buckley (HUD3 on this forum and Bucks on the Matrix forums) passed away unexpectedly this past week. We will probably put up a thread elsewhere here for folks to express their condolences.

Tonight I managed to require that the human-ness question be answered correctly for new users to complete their registration, the previous requirement was any answer at all. Occasionally a spambot does answer correctly but they are few and far between. I don't think any of the 40+ spambots that have flooded the forum since the beginning of 2011 answered the question correctly. Thank you to those who have reported spambot postings, hopefully they will now be slowed down again. I'll add a second human-ness question if need be.

Tonight I updated the forum software and the Downloads module. Now we'll finally get to work on skinning the board.

Fellas: Some of you know that I got a new computer recently. Since I got the computer, I did not install H3 on it. Frankly, working on the H3DB, I ran into a few obstacles and “show stoppers” in both the db itself and GE. I seriously considered abandoning the project altogether. However, I am not one to leave things unfinished, so I have decided to take a fresh approach to this challenge. This however means that the H3DB as we know it is dead and will not be updated.
