Assigning Aircraft to Bases

Featured Replies

If I select a base in the SE, Jask Iran for example, am I restricted to only adding Iranian Aircraft (currently only obsolete model F-4's and F-14's)?

I have an interest in exploring a militarily modernized Iran taking advantage of cash-strapped Russian companies or CIS states willing to sell high tech fighter/attack aircraft such as SU-30K (MKK, MKI) or MiG-29C/MiG-29K to the highest bidder. :(

Thanks,

There are no restrictions of this kind. Add any type of aircraft you wish, as long as its size matches the size of the runways at the airfield. For example, you can't base a VLarge aircraft at an airfield with only Small runways.

Thanks,

Hmm, are you making this scenario in a EC2003 battleset and not one of the earlier ones? I can't remember but some of the early battlesets may have some restrictions.

Good point, Tony. I assumed Pete was referring to EC2003 or later, because the aircraft he mentioned don't exist in the earlier battlesets.
