will be no suggestion to turn on active sonars until an

approaching torp/sub/ship is detected within active sonar range.

For incoming torps, the range is always the max active sonar

range, for ships and subs there is a random factor.

are also used for other purposes. We also have no idea in

more recent battlesets (since EC2000) whether the Red side is

Miller7219 confirmed that second item as dealt with.

Tony....when I get the staff message window alerting me I should turn on my radars, here's what it says:

 

"Sir, ÂëN, Group AAC should turn their radars on!"

That is called Tony changed the right code but in the wrong spot (nearly identical code is in two places, the old eff115 and the new one, I accidentally changed the old instead of the new). It is fixed in 2009.029.
