October 4, 20214 yr How does this happen? I've looked and I don't see anything in the list of platforms (except for barges) but I know scenarios are writen with specific numbers of SAMs. It would be especially nice if we could add Aegis Ashore and THAAD sites to high value targets like...Guam. Thanks in advance... Byron
October 5, 20214 yr Assuming you are using HCDB or HCDB2, check out the Ships Annex, INTL country, type SAM for items such as "SAM Patriot Bty"
October 5, 20214 yr Author And it's been only 20 years since I created a scenario so... And as soon as I try to enter a time limit it crashes to the desk top. Running Win10
October 6, 20214 yr Using the Formation Editor, you can then add SAM or AAA batteries in layers around installations, or even simpler, make sure they are situated on land or in appropriate proximity to other facilities you are adding to the base. This can be of particular importance when you are dealing with a tiny piece of geography like Guam.

For this scenario its assumed that the PRC has pressured Japan to force all US forces from their territory so the next nearest US base is...Guam. I've put a regiment of PAC3 and THAAD on site. Thinking about parking a couple of Aegis cruisers right off shore too, that radar could come in handy. Any idea why Scenedit closes when I click on the Time Limit button?
October 6, 20214 yr Author Additional dumb question: How do I get my units (ships) to have a starting speed? I've tried it every which way I can think of and nothing seems to work. TIA Byron

The scenario duration dialog appears fine for me, I can change the duration, and click OK without a crash. I'll cross my fingers that once we put up the next build (next week perhaps) you don't see the issue anymore.
