December 3, 200718 yr OK, I can confirm that in the current version of the GE, I am getting a sinking sub pic. Seems this issue will be resolved with the first patch then. I've attached a pic of it working on my copy.
December 3, 200718 yr Author Don't get me wrong. The "Sub Sunk" image appeared later in that scenario, too. I sank other subs and they showed up just fine. If there is a problem, it might be related to this particular unit. Or, it may be the fact that the unit was a neutral platform. Seeing as the scenario was Backyard 2 and the unit sunk was an SSN Han, I think that it was due to the fact that the sub was neutral. I can't confirm it since the "Show All" function is currently disable.
December 4, 200718 yr OK, I can confirm that in the current version of the GE, I am getting a sinking sub pic. Seems this issue will be resolved with the first patch then. I've attached a pic of it working on my copy. OK, I'll recheck it as a neutral platform then. The pictures are all set in the GE, so unit particulars won't matter. As far as the GE is concerned, a sub is a sub is a sub. If you sink one, you get the red or blue sunk sub pic, I'll check for nuetrals this evening.
December 4, 200718 yr Confirmed, neutrals do not have a sink pic assigned to them. Wouldn't be surprised if it is the same for surface units too. Reported to Mantis 120307 http://www.advancedgaming.biz/mantis/view.php?id=2367

Reported to Mantis 120307 http://www.advancedgaming.biz/mantis/view.php?id=2367 This could be a problem that can be solved by editing the DB. Some time back, I was experiencing crashes when a platform I created was sunk. It turned out the crash could be avoided by disabling "Hit Animations", and thereby bypassing the problem caused by the fact that I hadn't assigned an image when I designed the platform. Maybe this could be something similar. Buddha
