Problem editing DB

Featured Replies

In my main computer something has happened with the DB editor, and is destroying the DBs in modification. Each time I try to import a common.res file, the DB is in blank, even importing correct DB files from the other computer, or downloades from the Harpgamer site.

It says the error is here in

"Modules"

and in the section

"cFileIO"

, but I don't know as to repair it:

With rsArray

.AddNew

![Annex] = LastAnnex

![iD] = LastID

![subAnnex] = SubAnnex

![Array] = Format$(ArraySize, "0") & ArrayVal

.Update

End With

LastID = -1

Were I should to look to find the LastID = -1 and change it?

Please create an issue report, zip up your PE and pfData file and attach them to the report as well as a link to a specific database you are trying to import.

As a potential work-around, what happens when you use a pristine PE and pfData file (copied from PE.bak directory to your game directory)?

In the issue report, please list the version of Access you are using.

Thanks!

Thanks Tony.
With a pristine PE yesterday the result was apparently the same (the attached DB should be the original World Wars DB), this afternoon I hope to do more test. I attach the present files and going to the real world job!

Hi Enrique,

I'm not having any difficulties with your files, exporting, importing, exporting then importing...

I'm using Windows 8, 64-bit and Access 2010.

Please provide more detail if possible.

Thanks Tony, I will see tomorrow, I find it even difficult to explain.
