I have a copy of Harpoon classic Gold, which I purchased on line from AGSI. It was a online download. I have the file hcgold_full.exe and the harpoonkey.txt files. After I do the install and try to register, I get an error message, invalid serial number, will run in demo mode. This Info is on the help screen

I expect you will have to contact AGSI directly to resolve any invalid serial number issues.

I'm not sure how far you've gotten, when you start up the game in demo mode, go to the GIUK battleset and load scenario 1.0 which is the tutorial. Once you are in the scenario go to the Help menu and try the registration there. Any luck?

Interesting development. I reviewed each of the comments, went to HCG GIUK scenario #1 and tried the registration under help. No Joy, still not able to enter in. Thought I was dead in the water because as I understood it, without a serial number I could not run but one scenario, GIUK. GIUK runs any scenario under it. Going to try the rest. Doesn't look like I am running only in Demo. Will report back.

Dead in the WATER! Only GIUK scenarios will run without serial number. BAD Berries. What can I do to prove I have or think I have a honest to goodness program and need a serial number. AGSI? Can you help?

EWCM, take a look at http://harpgamer.com/harpforum/index.php?s...entry5434 please. Might you be entering an order number instead of a serial number in the Help menu of the game?
