December 4, 201213 yr I saw a series of youtube videos where the uploader was running a simulator on H3 where both sides were computers. He was able to give each side a certain amount of planes and ships and then run the simulation and they would battle it out itself without the player controlling one side. Is there anything similar to this for HCE? I know it kinda defeats the purpose of the game if you don't even play but I think it'd be fun to setup each side and run the simulation and watch the battle unfold. And if there is nothing similar for HCE, does anyone know how he does it on H3? Any help would be great
December 4, 201213 yr Grobbs, there is something similar and we use if for testing the game engine. The keyboard shortcuts are Show All (Ctrl-Alt-s) and Autoplay (Ctrl-Alt-z). This is not, however, equal to what H3 is doing as in HC the AI is not fully activated in this situation. I should also note that it works better on scenarios that have formation patrols set up for both sides otherwise the normal 'player' side won't have much for air activity. It is a great hope of mine to have the AI fully play against itself eventually.
