National Anthems

Featured Replies

Allrighty, start submitting national anthems as wav, mp3, or other non midi formats that I can easily read, Enrique wants his sunk ship songs playing again. :)

We'll need additional information with each:

1. What nation it is representing :P

2. Reasonble proof the file can be used in a commercial product with nothing more than attribution as 'payment.'

I would suggest leaning towards instrumental variants but I don't see why lyrical variants wouldn't be acceptable though we'll review each for content.

For what it's worth, there was an old DOS program named PC Globe that included National Anthems for all the countries shown on its maps. It's currently listed as abandonware, but since I owned the program years ago, I didn't see any problem with getting a copy (in Spanish, unfortunately) from Vetusware.

I'll leave it to more knowledgeable folks to determine the legalities and how to extract the sound files.

Warning...the submarine song is NOT SAFE FOR WORK. :) (Oh, like that was a big surprise.)

We should also have this one, which I believe is about the air force

(This one is probably safe for work, but you never know...)
