Well, I've taken the plunge (or the crash dive, as it were) and picked up a copy of Silent Hunter IV. Just completed my first "Submarine School" mission. Now to convince my fellow submariners to also buy the sim.

I think you should drop the "CV32" moniker and adopt "Cutter Wilson"!

I think it has hitten me even worse than you, Brad: I bought by chance at ebay a "Naval Combat Pack" - consisting of "Sub Sim", "688i" and...."Jane´s Fleet Command".

 

My son is crazy for Fleet Command

 

Installed it on both PCs and we played MP. One thing I must admit: Easy to learn, easy to control and MP is great. It has not nearly the depth of Harpoon I think, bt it certainly is interesting.

 

So I have to reconvince my son of Harpoon right now.

 

Of course, I will give the sub sims a try too.
