VCDH Posted June 3, 2010 Report Share Posted June 3, 2010 With regards to the Millennium mount.... I think the footprint is actually slightly smaller than the 76mm gun. This could be the palletised [sp?] version that was mentioned in the Guide to World Naval Weapons Systems however. In addition to the twin .50 cals above the bridge, there was also two single .50s on the flight deck and an M240B next to the 76mm gun. Compare this to the one or two crew members of the other NATO ships that were armed with assault rifles. It was a shame that the mounts on the Toronto were empty of their MGs.
