May 5, 2025May 5 Air groups HaA and FvA were landing on the same time on carrier group AAC. When the last plane in group HaA landed group FvA did not land. Group FvA was split off of HaA. Created a test scenario with 1 base and 1 CV and the same splitting of the air group and both groups landed correctly. Created a smaller version of the game using DonT's AI tool Box and both air groups landed. The saved game has not been edited. If more saved game files are needed please let me know. June 7, 2025Jun 7 Author I have 1 second before the first plane of the 4 groups start to land. AAC is between the the 4 English islands. It appears that 1 of the 5 groups involved completely landed. I think it was the very first group to have landed a plane. I believe it was HMA. HMA is the 1st group to land a plane. AC Failed landing.zip
June 16, 2025Jun 16 I've been looking at a simplified version of this and while I haven't had the issue of planes actually not landing they aren't necessarily landing on the their correct carrier. In a surface group including 3 carrier each with different class aircraft, in a mixed sortie comprising aircraft from all carriers it seems that at the time of initiating a landing event the home unit of all aircraft is assigned to the home unit of the lead (lowest unit number) unit, and all aircraft land on that carrier. I think it's a separate but perhaps related issue so I'll make a new post.
