After a number of years away, I purchased the HUCE version and noted the WestPac scenarios are missing.

 

I think I have to download another database and (maybe) the battleset?

 

Confused as to how and where to install DB and potential battlesets, and if the install will allow just WestPac and no other of the newer HUCE included scenarios. Is it an all or nothing or when done w WestPac can I back off to the HUCE as downloaded list of battlesets?

You definitely should not be missing the WestPac Battleset.

 

What battlesets do you see at the introductory screen(s)?

 

What is the game engine (GE) version?

As Brad said, HUCE comes with the full WestPac BattleSet.

 

I've attached a screenshot of the relevant portion of the BattleSet listing and one of the Westpac scenario list.

 

The HUCE GE (Game Engine) version is at the top of the window, in the first screenshot you'll see 2016.008. That number is what Brad is asking about.

Yep - I asked the question incorrectly. In one of the older versions of Harpoon I had, within the WestPac battle set there was a scenario "Battle for the Yellow Sea" with a US carrier group tasked with entering this area with threats from the west and north, air and naval. I'd like to replay that on the new version, but it does not seem to be included within the selections.

So I guess the question is 1) do I need a specific database change and 2) any thoughts on where that scenario might be found?

Battle for the Yellow Sea is a Harpoon 3 (ANW) scenario, not a HC (Harpoon Classic) scenario, probably why you can't find it .
