Apparently a very bad article, the cause it's not:

The “honeymoon” between Turkey and Israel has been over since in 2010, when Israeli commandos boarded a Turkish ship heading to Gaza in defiance of the Israeli blockade. Nine Turkish nationals were killed during the attack.

 

A more evident cause is the theorically moderate Islamic government from 2002 in Turkey, destroying the work of Mustafá Kemal Ataturk:
