May 1, 201313 yr Not only PA2, but there will be also less FREMM destroyers (8 instead of 17 initially planned then lowered to 11). Looks like our rulers ignore that with 11 mio km² of water to watch, France has the 2nd maritime space in the world. FG

The FREMM building program was extremely ambitious, and I can't say I am terribly surprised about that. France's overseas territories would probably be adequately served with less expensive (and admittedly less capable) OPVs. No sister for De Gaulle, however, that's just ugh.
