January 5, 201214 yr Greg, your ongoing naval news summaries are a great addition to the forums and appreciated by the membership (as some have already mentioned), including myself. I think it would be best, however, for the sake of forum functionality and ease of reference, that you create a single thread for the summaries and then add to that single thread with any new entries that you might have. Oh, and wherever possible, please provide links to the sources of the information provided, both so that folks can follow up with items of interest and so that we try to avoid copyright issues. Please and thanks.
January 5, 201214 yr Yes, keep em coming Greg! Brad isn't asking for sources to be a pain, we really do get asking by content providers to remove information and/or provide only a short synopsis with links. I don't much enjoy going through that process. Thankfully I've only had to go through the process a handful of times (so far). Looking on the dark side, if SOPA passes it is most likely this and every fan support site will at best become fully moderated and at worse just give up and shut down.
January 5, 201214 yr Author I concur. Tomorrow, I'll start a single NNSotD thread. We get our summary from a single source, but I can glean the sources easily., from Naval Today: http://navaltoday.com/ , Naval Open Source Intelligence: http://nosint.blogspot.com/ and foreign news services. Thanks for the encouragement. I just want to provide a little realism to scenario design. I feel these summaries are a way of providing an endless supply of scenario possibilities.
