Our good friend TSO has a post up at The Burnpit regarding Seattle University's School of Law.

Only, they seem to only be interested in their own law.  Not the one of say, the Federal Gov't or the Constitution.

Looking for a concrete way to support the men and women who join the military? “The training covers rights and resources for active service members and their families such as types of discharges (Conscientious Objector, Hardship, etc), Family Plans (for caring for children while service members are deployed), and Court Martial and AWOL procedures.â€

Reading this passage, one would think this would be a veterans assistance group, although more in line with IAVA than say, VFW or Legion.  But you'd be VERY wrong- they are more into finding ways to get you OUT of the military, and/or protest the military, than in helping veterans out of any particular situation.  It's disgusting.

Having spent some time in such places many moons ago, I can tell you that law schools are rife with what I would call the 'fringe element' of society, the kind of people who like to push the societal envelope, if you will. Not to pass judgment on them, but these include the "politically correct" movement, the feminists, etc, etc. Not all of them go on to actually practise law.

My idea from many years ago is to close the presential university, except for the very limited number of studies requering physical presence of the students, as medicine.

We can ride-off of a great number of potential problems, both from teachers and students, and the budget of a distance university is only the 10% of a presential university.

The people says the distance university is very hard, but that keeps away also fool people ...

I studied first time Laws and some years after Anthropology in the Spanish distance university ... and was a very satisfactory experience ....
