April 1, 200719 yr Hello, just reread my old Harpoon Battlebook as of 1991. There are some excerpts of the book mentioned above in it. Have been searching for it at amazon and ebay (ebay US), but did not find it. Does anybody have that book (is it good?) or know how/where to get it? TIA Ralf
April 1, 200719 yr Hi Ralf, Unfortunately, I do not possess that book. I also unsuccessfully searched (online) for it in my local and county libraries for you. If you are really interested , I could perhaps check with the US Merchant Marine Academy - which is not too far from where I work.

The book was published as "The War that Never Was" by iBooks and it is simply superb. If you can find an old copy of it, Grab It! You won't regret it.

Ah - that does really explain why I did not find it anywhere. The Harpoon Battlebook is from 1991 and the book should be published in 1992. Thus Michael Palmer had changed the title. Thank you! Ralf
