Hey all:

 

Went and bought the Harpoon Ultimate edition and have been enjoying it immensely. However I noticed something that for me is a little offputting. Down the bottom of the game screen there seems to be a scrolling text advertisement for various image packs and the like. It also speaks highly of buying the game, which is a little strange since I bought it online from Matrix games.

 

Is this stuff supposed to be there? Can I turn it off?

Welcome to the game. The text is supposed to be there but the main focus was the links to the images. The text should have been rewritten but obviously was not.

 

Anyway, with the game closed you can go to the ExportDLLs subdirectory of your HUCE installation (be default C:\Matrix Games\HUCE\ExportDLLs) and rename DigMilArt.dll to some other extension like DigMilArt.dll.bak.

 

The next time you start the game it will not appear.
