Music is certainly one of my muses, in all its fancies, from baroque or romantic to rock'n'roll and hardcore mosh pits !!

Movies and photography, programming and even coding in assembly !!

Culture and knowledge, in its widest sense : too many forget that ignorance is not cured by quantity or so called "quality",

no, not all.

Knowing that how ever much you learn, there will always be more you ignore, and that ignorant you'll always be, that is a certain cure for stupidity

Geopolitics and conflict, and their profound effect on all our lives.

Politics and social activism, of the enlightened kind : propaganda is always propaganda, even when it comes from your "side"

I guess I should mention "reading between the lines" as an interest, a major asset in my attempt to quench my insatiable thirst for knowledge and analysis.

And bien sûr, wargaming.

Hiking and biking, wining and dining, friends and family are all very dear to me.
