Yeah I've tried a TON of things. - Drivers - Windows and Full Screen in a variety of resolutions - Mouse Speed - USB Mouse, Bluetooth Mouse, Built in Mouse on laptop - Updating BIOS and a variety of other non-graphics related drivers - Sending my DxDiag to Matrix Games Nothing seems to make it work ... Really a massive disappointment.

Running as administrator fixed the problem, but the cursor issue is so problematic that I can't stand it... I've requested a refund from Matrixgames.

Good stuff. My problem is that, for whatever reason, the editor won't launch on my machine. It tells me the S/N lookup failed. I can run the game just fine. The text file that contains my serial number is correct. Everything seems to run... My other problem, of course, is that the mouse flickers in and out of existence no matter what I do... It makes playing the game virtually impossible so I'm contenting myself with trying a million things and working on this database/scenario thing to bide my time.

So, just copy the scenarios directory over from the HUD 3 to the new created HUD 4 directory?

I just purchase HUCE from Matrix Games. There are a ton of options and I've seen many different database options out there. What's the most commonly supported and used database? I see that there's a Players Database which is self-branded as the most functional database. Is the self-branding of that database for real or is it just for marketing? I see that the official database on this site has a ton of downloads and was just updated on the 3rd of June 2013. Thoughts?
