Just brainstormed the morning and thought how some of you would think of the US being the aggressor, the Red side? I've been researching the US Navy's return to Subic Bay and the reaction of the Philippines and China yet I haven't heard any reaction from Russia or North Korea. Some groups in the PI are against the return of the 7th Fleet and China seems neutral for the most part. So first off, has anyone read how China and North Korea are reacting to the US returning to its Cold War roots in Subic and second, your thoughts of the US annexing the PI in a Harpoon 3 scenario? Klaus Behrmann's New World Order: Uppercut Bottom line up front: This was a wonderful scenario to teach humility and patience to the trigger-happy commander such as myself. Personally, I disliked the second SAG to the west - their presence is neither necessary nor explained, as far as I could see. They do offer a few Harpoons and Tomahawks, but nothing the main battle group couldn't deliver themselves. Often crews of attacked vessels are put overboard, the ship is quickly searched for valuables, and then sunk. From what I've been reading, Europe and its vicinity in 2020 might a lot like the "Great Powers" before World War I. The main players... * E.U. * Russia and its allies (Belarus, some of the Black Sea nations, etc.) * An alliance of Turkey and Israel (and some of their allies, perhaps Georgia) Wild card players who are trying to be independent of these blocs include Norway (not part of the E.U.), Ukraine, and Kazakhstan; the major North African states don't qualify as great powers but are strong enough to make a difference in a conflict (e.g., Russia and Egypt are stronger than Russia by itself). The 268th NEW Harpoon scenario of the year! PLUG THE DIKE The success of the Reformed Russian Republic in Norway increased the importance of supply interdiction in the Baltic Sea. The logistical requirements of the R3 army were enormous. Tons of supplies attempted to make transit of the shallow waters between Denmark and Norway. The threat to these small convoys was limited in scope. Because of the success of R3 airfield strikes, the NATO aircraft that remained had adopted a defensive posture, awaiting reinforcements. Hey guys, With ANW DB HUD3 v1.6.2 the DB is a bit daunting if your looking for a specific unit so I asking my seasoned Harpooners if their are any Iranian small boats (i.e. Boghammers or a little larger but smaller than the C-14's) that have ASM capabilities? Thanks again.

INGRESS PROJECT PENINSULA 94 Peninsula 94 is a series of 4 related scenarios (Recon, Ingress, Strike Ops, and Egress) representing different phases of a US multi-carrier battle group attack on the Kola Peninsula. A Georgian Affair On 8 August, 2008, ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet deployed to the coast of Georgia to take participate in the "forcing to peace" operation. The Ukrainian government saw the writing on the wall. With this invasion, the Kremlin was re-asserting control over its sphere of influence on the former Soviet republics. Advance Subs After the surprise Argentine invasion of the Falklands Islands, the British Defence ministry urgently ordered available Royal Navy units to the area.
