The maintainer will set it to when the request/issue has been fulfilled/addressed
If you see the request is refused
Any player who has tested the change can post to that effect and request that the icon be set to
Ideally the reporter will also test and then set the icon to

Recommended change to database text... "One of the many small patrol boat classes in service around the world, the Vosper 103-Foot Type has been exported to a number of countries, including Malaysia, Panama, and Qatar." This is simply a text change to increase the accuracy of the database. In fact, Malaysia (not Qatar) is the major user of this class, with over a dozen boats in service, although they're nearly 50 years old! A bit slow, but probably pretty good for keeping an eye on the neighbors or going after pirates or smugglers who do not have speed boats. As far as I know, there are no differences in the versions sold to various countries, although I un…

The text for the ACV Bay is very odd...it describes them as missile boats armed with Penguins when the only weapon they carry is a 7.62 mm. machine gun. Suggested text: A patrol boat employed by the Australian Customs Service. A similar class of vessels is used by Yemen.

Listed in the descriptive text as carrying Harpoons and Gabriels, but they actually have Exocets. Possibly the wrong text entry was used? Edit...sorry, I put in the wrong class by accident. The P 20 Al Fateh is the one that has a much more correct description, although the machine guns are different. ANW HUD 4 v1.11

The PRC Type O25T Naresuan is described in the database as a conversion of a broad-beamed Leander, but I think this is incorrect. It's a Chinese ship sold to Thailand, isn't it? Anyway, I figured I should report it in case the text was in error. Here's the Wikipedia description (which probably can't be quoted word for word, but can be used a starting point, I suppose)... "HTMS (His Thai Majesty's Ship) Naresuan (FFG 421), (Thai: นเรศวร) hull number 621, commissioned in 1995, is a modified version of the Chinese-made Type 053 frigate, corporate designed between Royal thai navy and China but built by the China State Shipbuilding Corporation in Shanghai. Her sister sh…

Minor database error...the descriptive text for one of the three listings for the Sprague identifies it as a "Finnish missile boat." At 9,000 tons, that's one heck of a missile boat! I figured I should let you know.

Odd error (?) for the text for the LMCS Chickadee...as far as I can tell, it is NOT the Moroccan version of the Sigma-class corvette (which does have its own listing elsewhere in the HUD-4). As near as I can tell, the Chickadee simply a copy of the LCS 2 Independence. (There is also an LCMS 1 Oriole, which appears to be a copy of the LCS 1 Freedom). Was there a reason for adding these quasi-duplicates? Assumed export versions of the LCS? (By the way, the Chickadee is not a bad name for a small warship. These birds are 5" tall and only weigh about as much as a mouse, but put out the birdseed and you will see they are aggressive little guys!) ANW HUD-4 v…

Some variants of the Mirage F1 are missing from the database. I am not sure if these are different enough from existing platforms that they need to be added... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dassault_Mirage_F1 The only ones in the database are the F1-AZ (South Africa), the F1.A (JE...the version built for Ecuador?), and the F1.C200 (which appears to be the version used by France). But what about the versions built for Greece, Libya, Kuwait, and other nations? ANW HUD-4 v1.11

A few quick comments/questions/etc. about the troop loadouts... 1) I noticed the UH-60 has a paratrooper platoon as one of its loadouts? Can it carry that many troops? 2) Would the MH-53J have room for two platoons? 3) A couple of loadouts that look like they're already in the database but have not been added to actual aircraft... * Ranger Squad * USMC Squad * Boarding Team * DEA Team 4) A few troops are in the database, but I did not find them being used anywhere (e.g., Australian forces, Navy SEALS, etc.), although it is possible I just missed them 5) If possible, it would be great special forces/marines/paratroopers from other nations c…

MLP ships are to serve as floating bases for amphibious operations, and operate as a transfer point between large ships and small landing craft. Proof-of-concept testing began in 2005, with heavy lift ships serving as substitutes for the MLPs. General Dynamics' National Steel and Shipbuilding Company was …

I came up with a few more ideas that might be helpful for planning out victory conditions, etc. Most of these are simply potential targets, rendezvous points, "things you should not hit by accident," etc., I don't think they need to be planned out very elaborately. I would recommend simply copying the data for existing buildings (suggestions included) but adding a new entry with a changed name. BLDG – Medium Use BLDG – Leadership Compound Description: A generic medium building BLDG – Shop Use BLDG – Small Description: A small place of business BLDG – Store Use BLDG – Leadership Compound Description: A typical large store BLDG – Restaurant …

All right, I did a bit more research and I think my earlier request was in error. I also think some versions of the LCS may be armed more heavily than they are supposed to be. The LCS basically comes with the following as its “baseline” combat system… 1x BAE Systems Mk 110 57 mm gun, 400 rounds in turret and two ready service magazines with 240 rounds each.[8] 4x .50-cal machine guns 21x RIM-116 Rolling Airframe Missile Surface-to-Air Missiles And then it has these two open modules. I’m assuming that the “standard” versions of the Freedom-class and the Independence-class has the two 30 mm. guns (the “surface combat” modules) and the SURTASS version sacr…

MSI Project 1258 ("Yevgenya") class http://www.harpoondatabases.com/Encyclopedia/Entry1591.aspx Why include more minesweepers? Because they were also used as patrol boats by lots of little countries. (So they have some utility to scenario design.)

Again, I know it may be a while before these are implemented, but I figured I should post them now and get the process started... At this point, I think the single most important addition to the database would be to increase the number of functional troop loadouts. But I figured it might be helpful to make my suggestions about troop loadouts a little more specific. They are not in any particular order of preference, although the Boarding Team one is probably the most useful. 1) Please make the Boarding Team loadout functional. This is probably the most common troop loadout; it shows up on a LOT of helicopters, and just adding this would add a lot of possibili…

The Myasishchev design bureau was formed to build such a bomber." --Wikipedia This is one we never hear about it, overshadowed I guess by the Tu- bombers.
