I'm old game player and access the forum as guest for some time.

Recently created a log in, but never post.

 

I'm from Brazil and love this game.

Have some questions for you that are the specialist people:

 

1- Is there any possibility to increase AI difficulty? AI is too weak, not agressive, boring and predictable.

2- Is there any plan for 2 playes on HCE?

3- At this point of time, does it worth getting Harpoon 3 ANW? Or should I wait next version release?

1 - Your best bet at present are to play user-created scenarios such as those you can download here at HarpGamer. They make better use of the game's capabilities than most of the stock scenarios.

 

2 - Yes, multiplayer is planned but I don't think you'll see it anytime soon. Maintaining/expanding the game is a volunteer operation and there isn't a ton of interest these days so progress is slow as a whole (and impacts long-term projects like multiplayer more severely).

 

3 - If you liked Harpoon 2, then definitely grab H3. It really comes down to personal preference. There shouldn't be a reason to wait, 3.10 is scheduled to be a free upgrade.
